NFL Mock Draft 2016: Seven rounds (2024)

Only a week to the NFL Draft, another blockbuster trade has reshuffled the draft order.

Browns receive: No. 8 overall pick, a third-round pick (77th overall) and a fourth-round pick (100th overall) in this year’s draft, a first-round pick in 2017 and a second-round pick in 2018. Eagles receive: No. 2 overall pick and a fourth-round pick in 2017.

Surprise winner of the deal: the Chargers, who now have the defacto top pick and choice of the best players available in this draft.

The Rams and Eagles will obviously take quarterbacks with the first two selections.

The draft has become a nice appetizer before our main course in September when football returns. A mock version of said draft is meant to educate, and even entertain. At very least, it helps you pass the time.

What follows is an attempt at figuring out the best players available in this season’s draft class, and which teams they’d match up well with. Draft order is courtesy of nfl.com.

Here’s an updated version of my 2016 NFL Mock Draft, now through a complete seven rounds with compensatory picks:

FIRST ROUND

1. Los Angeles (7-9) from Tennessee – Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota St., Sr.

An early report from Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times had the Rams favoring Wentz. Look, there isn’t an “Andrew Luck” in this crop of prospects, but Wentz has the size and arm strength NFL coaches covet in the position. Top needs: QB, WR, C, S, CB

2. Philadelphia (7-9) from Cleveland – Jared Goff, QB, California, Jr.

The Rams essentially make the Eagles pick for them by selecting Wentz. Goff has his flaws, but he’s an effective downfield passer who has performed well under pressure, especially against the blitz. His accuracy and anticipation should help ease his transition to the NFL. Top needs: QB, WR, DL, ILB, OL

3. San Diego (4-12) – Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss, Jr.

Protecting Philip Rivers has to be paramount here, especially with the depth at defensive line in this draft class. Tunsil has the feet, quickness and agility to be a star right away. He is an upgrade over both King Dunlap and Joe Barksdale. Top needs: DL, OT, OG, S, TE

4. Dallas (4-12) – Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio St., Jr.

There have been some reports questioning Bosa’s character. I chalk it all up to college shenanigans. Plus, since when does Jerry Jones allow “character concerns” get in the way of him chasing talented football players? Bosa will make an impact as a pass rusher and run stopper day one. Top needs: CB, QB, RB, DT, pass rush

5. Jacksonville (5-11) – Jalen Ramsey, DB, Florida St., Jr.

The Jags would probably do a backflip if Ramsey falls here. He is a play-maker who can play either cornerback or safety at the next level, and is one of the true premium talents in this draft class. Top needs: OLB, DT, S, OG, C

6. Baltimore (5-11) – Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame, Jr.

It’s rare for the Ravens to be drafting this early. GM Ozzie Newsome makes it count by finding blindside protection for his franchise quarterback. Stanley could have easily been a Top 10 selection last draft. An NFL strength program should put the finishing touches on this already polished prospect. Top needs: OT, OG, CB, OLB, WR

7. San Francisco (5-11) – Myles Jack, OLB, UCLA, Jr.

According to Pro Football Focus, Jack was the top-graded linebacker in coverage in 2014 while playing the third-most snaps in the country with 1,109. The 20-year-old did the bench press, attended team interviews and underwent a medical check in Indianapolis, but he wowed scouts at UCLA’s Pro Day with a vertical jump of 40 inches and broad jump of 10-feet, 4 inches. This just 53 days after being cleared to run following a season-ending knee injury. He claimed he was only “80 percent.” Scary. Top needs: QB, ILB, CB, OL, WR

8. Cleveland (3-13) from Philadelphia – Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio St., Jr.

Elliott brings big-play ability from the tailback position, is an effective receiver out of the backfield and has proven to be outstanding in pass protection. He gained more than 1,000 yards last season after contact. Let that sink in. Top needs: RB, OG, OT, pass rush, WR

9. Tampa Bay (6-10) – DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon, Sr.

Buckner can play the run and rush the passer when he puts his mind to it. He finished the regular season with 11 sacks, 14 hits and 39 hurries on the quarterback. Top needs: CB, OT, S, WR, DE

10. N.Y. Giants (6-10) – Vernon Hargreaves III, CB, Florida, Jr.

Hargreaves is pro-ready, and the best player at his position since Patrick Peterson in 2011 (I believe Ramsey will find a home at safety in the NFL). Top needs: LB, WR, OL, RB, S

11. Chicago (6-10) – Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson, Jr.

Lawson, a first-team AP All-American, led the nation with 23.5 tackles for a loss and tied for 11th with 10.5 sacks. He showed some serious explosion in Indianapolis and he’s not too shabby against the run either. Top needs: Pass rusher, DE, QB, OL, CB

12. New Orleans (7-9) – Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville, Sr.

The Saints defense was simply awful, specifically because they were unable to generate any meaningful pressure on opposing quarterbacks. Rankins has shined during Senior Bowl practices and in Indianapolis at the combine. He’s the disruptive force from the interior the Saints are lacking. Top needs: OLB, WR, CB, OG, DL

13. Miami (6-10) from Philadelphia – Eli Apple, CB, Ohio St., So.

Apple is raw, but he’s a big corner who likes to get physical and utilize his natural instincts. His performance in Indy confirmed he is worthy of being selected this high. Top needs: CB, S, OT, OG, DE

14. Oakland (7-9) – Reggie Ragland, ILB, Alabama, Sr.

The Raiders land an every down enforcer who is rarely out of position. Ragland also competed at outside linebacker at the Senior Bowl, but is clearly better suited for an inside position. He’s capable of transforming a defense with his championship mentality as well. Pairing him with Khalil Mack and Bruce Irvin would create a nightmare for opposing offenses. Top needs: OT, CB, ILB, S, DT

15. Tennessee (3-13) from Los Angeles – Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio St., Sr.

Despite his height – he’s 6-foot-7 – Decker moves quite well and plays with great balance in the run game. He’d also be a massive upgrade for what currently passes for Marcus Mariota protection in Tennessee. Top needs: OT, WR, CB, S, DE

16. Detroit (7-9) – Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan St., Jr.

There are physical limitations, but an impeccable technique more than makes up for them. Conklin will start at right tackle from day one. Top needs: OT, CB, DT, ILB, DE

17. Atlanta (8-8) – Darron Lee, OLB, Ohio St., So.

Lee has proven to be a dynamic play-maker during his short time in Columbus. With Bosa ejected early on an already-depleted defensive line, Lee was pivotal in the Buckeyes’ 44-28 Fiesta Bowl victory over the Fighting Irish. He tied for the team lead with seven tackles, including two sacks. His performance at the combine confirmed his freakish athleticism. Top needs: Pass rusher, TE, S, ILB, OG

18. Indianapolis (8-8) – Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia, Jr.

Floyd could be this draft class’ best pure pass rusher. Top needs: OT, OG, OLB, CB, S

19. Buffalo (8-8) – Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss, Jr.

Treadwell has recovered nicely from last season’s gruesome leg injury. His potential at the next level? Think a middle class Dez Bryant or Julio Jones. He’d form a dynamic duo with Sammy Watkins. Top needs: OT, DL, WR, LB, K

20. N.Y. Jets (10-6) – Noah Spence, OLB, Eastern Kentucky, Jr.

It’s a scary thought picturing Spence in Todd Bowles’ defensive scheme. Top needs: OT, edge rusher, ILB, TE, CB

21. Washington (9-7) – Jarran Reed, DT, Alabama, Sr.

Washington surrendered 123 yards per game on the ground – 26th in the NFL – during the regular season. They didn’t improve against Green Bay during a wild-card loss. Reed was the heart and soul of the Crimson Tide’s vaunted defensive line. He was a big part of the reason Leonard Fournette only managed 31 rushing yards against the Tide. Top needs: C, DL, ILB, WR, CB

22. Houston (9-7) – Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor, Jr.

Many considered Coleman the best deep threat in the nation. His pairing with DeAndre Hopkins would create some serious match-up issues for defensive coordinators. Top needs: WR, TE, OT, C, DE

23. Minnesota (11-5) – Josh Doctson, WR, TCU, Sr.

Only Treadwell’s ball skills compare to Doctson. It’s scary to think of the play-action possibilities Teddy Bridgewater will face with this addition. Top needs: WR, CB, OT, OG, P

24. Cincinnati (12-4) – Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame, Jr.

Fuller’s speed game makes him the perfect compliment to A.J. Green. Top needs: WR, NT, LB, C, OG

25. Pittsburgh (10-6) – Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson, So.

The Steelers need significant upgrades to their secondary. If Alexander has allowed a reception this season, I didn’t see it. He was the catalyst for a Tigers defense that ranked ninth-best nationally in pass defense. Top needs: CB, S, OG, OT, OLB

26. Seattle (10-6) – Robert Nkemdiche, DT, Ole Miss, Jr.

Pete Carroll won’t let past off-the-field issues stand in the way of the Seahawks landing one of the most talented defensive lineman in this draft class. Top needs: OT, CB, C, DT, DE

27. Green Bay (10-6) – Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor, Jr.

The Packers do not necessarily have to replace B.J. Raji in a one-for-one way. They do need to find more assistance for Mike Daniels up front. Billings can plug the middle or slide out to three- or five-techs. Top needs: ILB, CB, OLB, OT, TE

28. Kansas City (11-5) – William Jackson III, CB, Houston, Sr.

Jackson possesses a good size/speed combination and represents the best value pick here. Top needs: OLB, QB, S, WR, DL

29. Arizona (13-3) – Ryan Kelly, C, Alabama, Sr.

Adding a dominant center could enhance the Cardinals offensive line into an elite group. Kelly is the best prospect at the position in this draft class. His knowledge and instincts are second to none, and his athleticism is top notch. He hasn’t allowed a sack in two seasons. Top needs: S, C, OLB, CB, TE

30. Carolina (15-1) –Kevin Dodd, DE, Clemson, Jr.

The re-signing of veteran Charles Johnson was a key offseason move, but the Panthers still need a long-term solution as the every-down defensive end opposite Kony Ealy. Top needs: OT, DE, DB, RB, P

31. Denver (12-4) – Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis, Jr.

The Broncos are guaranteed to draft a quarterback early. Top needs: QB, OG, LB, DE, S

NOTE: New England was stripped of a first round pick in the 2016 draft for the team’s role in the deflated footballs scandal.

SECOND ROUND

32. Cleveland – Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Oklahoma St., Jr.

33. Tennessee – Tyler Boyd, WR, Pittsburgh, Jr.

34. Dallas – Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama, Jr.

35. San Diego – Vernon Butler, DT, Louisiana Tech, Sr.

A team like the Chargers looking for bulk in the middle of the defensive line is a perfect fit for Butler. He can push the pocket as well as attack one gap or play two to meet responsibilities as a run defender. This roster needs a talent transfusion on both the offensive and defensive lines.

36. Baltimore – Kendall Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech, Jr.

37. San Francisco – A’Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama, Jr.

38. Miami – Jonathan Bullard, DE, Florida, Sr.

39. Jacksonville – Chris Jones, DT, Mississippi St., Jr.

40. N.Y. Giants – Michael Thomas, WR, Ohio St., Jr.

41. Chicago – Jason Spriggs, OT, Indiana, Sr.

42. Tampa Bay – Germain Ifedi, OT, Texas A&M, Jr.

43. Tennessee from Los Angeles – Keanu Neal, FS, Florida, Jr.

44. Oakland – Kenny Clark, DT, UCLA, Jr.

45. Tennessee from Los Angeles – Shilique Calhoun, DE, Michigan St., Sr.

46. Detroit – Austin Johnson, DT, Penn St., Jr.

47. New Orleans – Kamalei Correa, OLB, Boise St., Jr.

48. Indianapolis – Cody Whitehair, OG, Kansas St., Sr.

49. Buffalo – Joshua Perry, OLB, Ohio St., Sr.

50. Atlanta – Hunter Henry, TE, Arkansas, Jr.

51. N.Y. Jets – Shon Coleman, OT, Auburn, Jr.

52. Houston – Le’Raven Clark, OT, Texas Tech, Sr.

53. Washington – Nick Martin, C, Notre Dame, Sr.

54. Minnesota – Christian Westerman, OG, Arizona St., Sr.

55. Cincinnati – Su’a Cravens, OLB, USC, Jr.

56. Seattle – Xavier Howard, CB, Baylor, Jr.

57. Green Bay – Kentrell Brothers, ILB, Missouri, Sr.

58. Pittsburgh –Von Bell, SS, Ohio St., Jr.

59. Kansas City – Sterling Shepard, WR, Oklahoma, Sr.

60. New England – Kenneth Dixon, RB, Louisiana Tech, Sr.

The Patriots land one of the best three-down backs in this draft class with their first selection. Top needs: DE, OT, CB, WR, RB

61. New England from Arizona – Artie Burns, CB, Miami, Jr.

62. Carolina – Pharoh Cooper, WR, South Carolina, Jr.

63. Denver – Connor Cook, QB, Michigan St., Sr.

THIRD ROUND

64. Tennessee – Sean Davis, CB, Maryland, Sr.

65. Cleveland – Joshua Garnett, OG, Stanford, Sr.

66. San Diego – Austin Hooper, TE, Stanford, So.

His father actually played at San Diego State, but his uncle, Greg, suited up for Stanford as a fullback from 1979-1982. Those genes were obvious during his two years on the field. He’s a strong runner after the catch and will carry defenders with him into the end zone. He’s also a willing blocker who comes from a program where run blocking is demanded.

67. Dallas – Deion Jones, OLB, LSU, Sr.

68. San Francisco – Braxton Miller, WR, Ohio St., Sr.

69. Miami – Devontae Booker, RB, Utah, Sr.

70. Jacksonville – Kyler Fackrell, OLB, Utah St., Sr.

71. Baltimore – Jordan Jenkins, OLB, Georgia, Sr.

72. Chicago – Christian Hackenberg, QB, Penn St., Jr.

73. Tampa Bay – Karl Joseph, SS, West Virginia, Sr.

74. N.Y. Giants – Jalen Mills, FS, LSU, Sr.

75. Oakland – John Theus, OT, Georgia, Sr.

76. Tennessee from Los Angeles – Carl Nassib, DE, Penn St., Sr.

77. Cleveland from Philadelphia – Jerald Hawkins, OT, LSU, Jr.

78. New Orleans – Will Redmond, CB, Mississippi St., Sr.

79. Philadelphia – Leonte Carroo, WR, Rutgers, Sr.

80. Buffalo – Rashard Higgins, WR, Colorado St., Jr.

81. Atlanta – Darian Thompson, FS, Boise St., Sr.

82. Indianapolis – KeiVarae Russell, CB, Notre Dame, Jr.

83. N.Y. Jets – Nick Vannett, TE, Ohio St., Sr.

84. Washington – Tyler Matakevich, ILB, Temple, Sr.

85. Houston – Charles Trapper, DE, Oklahoma, Sr.

86. Minnesota – Cyrus Jones, CB, Alabama, Sr.

87. Cincinnati – Vadal Alexander, OG, LSU, Sr.

88. Green Bay – Kyle Murphy, OT, Stanford, Sr.

89. Pittsburgh – Isaac Seumalo, OG, Oregon St., Jr.

90. Seattle – Sheldon Day, DT, Notre Dame, Sr.

91. New England – Javon Hargrave, DT, South Carolina St., Sr.

92. Arizona – Max Tuerk, C, USC, Sr.

93. Carolina – Maurice Canady, CB, Virginia, Sr.

94. Denver – Justin Simmons, FS, Boston College, Sr.

95. Detroit (compensatory) – Charone Peake, WR, Clemson, Sr.

96. New England (compensatory) – Jaylon Smith, OLB, Notre Dame, Jr.

97. Seattle (compensatory) – Jordan Howard, RB, Indiana, Sr.

98. Denver (compensatory) – Dean Lowry, DE, Northwestern, Sr.

NOTE: Kansas City was stripped of a third round pick in the 2016 draft for tampering.

FOURTH ROUND

99. Cleveland – Paul Perkins, RB, UCLA, Jr.

100. Cleveland from Philadelphia – Kolby Listenbee, WR, TCU, Sr.

101. Dallas – D.J. White, CB, Georgia Tech, Sr.

102. San Diego – Jack Allen, C, Michigan St., Sr.

Allen is slightly undersized, but that may be his only weakness. His background as a standout high school wrestler serves him well. His ability to lead and his competitiveness make him a coach’s dream at the position. This has been a position of need since Nick Hardwick retired.

103. Jacksonville – Caleb Benenoch, OT, UCLA, Jr.

104. Baltimore – Jeremy Cash, SS, Duke, Sr.

105. San Francisco – Connor McGovern, OG, Missouri, Sr.

106. Chicago – Kevin Byard, SS, Middle Tennessee, Sr.

107. Miami – Roberto Aguayo, K, Florida St., Jr.

108. Tampa Bay – Kenny Lawler, WR, California, Jr.

121. Minnesota – Tom Hackett, P, Utah, Sr.

122. Cincinnati – Hassan Ridgeway, DT, Texas, Jr.

123. Pittsburgh – Maliek Collins, DT, Nebraska, Jr.

124. Seattle – Willie Beavers, OT, Western Michigan, Sr.

125. Green Bay – Kenyan Drake, RB, Alabama, Sr.

126. Kansas City – Yannick Ngakoue, OLB, Maryland, Jr.

127. Chicago from New England – DeAndre Houston-Carson, FS, William & Mary, Sr.

129. Carolina – Graham Glasgow, OG, Michigan, Sr.

130. Baltimore from Denver – Daniel Lasco, RB, California, Sr.

131. Green Bay (compensatory) – Jerell Adams, TE, South Carolina, Sr.

132. Baltimore (compensatory) – B.J. Goodson, ILB, Clemson, Sr.

133. San Francisco (compensatory) – Kevon Seymour, CB, USC, Sr.

134. Baltimore (compensatory) – Jonathan Jones, CB, Auburn, Sr.

143. Oakland from Dallas – Adolphus Washington, DT, Ohio St., Sr.

144. Denver from Baltimore – Jason Fanaika, DE, Utah, Sr.

145. San Francisco – Tyler Ervin, RB, San Jose St., Sr.

146. Jacksonville – Spencer Drango, OG, Baylor, Sr.

147. Miami – Joe Schubert, OLB, Wisconsin, Sr.

148. Tampa Bay – Adam Gotsis, DT, Georgia Tech, Sr.

149. N.Y. Giants – James Cowser, DE, Southern Utah, Sr.

150. Chicago – Thomas Duarte, TE, UCLA, Jr.

151. Detroit – Blake Martinez, ILB, Stanford, Sr.

152. New Orleans – Ben Braunecker, TE, Harvard, Sr.

156. Buffalo – Demarcus Robinson, WR, Florida, Jr.

157. N.Y. Jets – Eric Murray, CB, Minnesota, Sr.

158. Washington – Devon Cajuste, WR, Stanford, Sr.

159. Houston – Eric Striker, OLB, Oklahoma, Sr.

160. Minnesota – KJ Dillon, SS, West Virginia, Sr.

161. Cincinnati – Roger Lewis, WR, Bowling Green, So.

162. Kansas City from Seattle – Tyvis Powell, FS, Ohio St., Jr.

163. Green Bay – Sebastian Trelola, OG, Arkansas, Sr.

164. Philadelphia from Pittsburgh – Romeo Okwara, DE, Notre Dame, Sr.

165. Kansas City – Bryce Williams, TE, East Carolina, Sr.

166. Houston from New England – Keith Marshall, RB, Georgia, Sr.

167. Arizona – Willie Henry, DT, Michigan, Jr.

168. Carolina – Cody Core, WR, Ole Miss, Sr.

169. Detroit from Denver – Brandon Shell, OT, South Carolina, Sr.

174. San Francisco (compensatory) – D.J. Reader, DT, Clemson, Sr.

175. San Diego (compensatory) – Paul McRoberts, WR, SE Missouri St., Sr.

This could be wishful thinking. The Chargers would be lucky to grab him here. McRoberts could catch a BB in the dark. He’s the type of big-play wide receiver Philip Rivers has been lacking since Vincent Jackson left for Tampa Bay.

NOTE: Los Angeles forfeited a firth round pick for Isaiah Battle; Atlanta was stripped of a fifth round pick in the 2016 draft for artificial crowd noise.

SIXTH ROUND

176. Cleveland – Beau Sandland, TE, Montana St., Sr.

177. Los Angeles from Tennessee – Ryan Smith, CB, North Carolina Central, Sr.

178. San Francisco from Dallas – Dominique Alexander, ILB, Oklahoma, Jr.

179. San Diego – Kavon Frazier, SS, Central Michigan, Sr.

Frazier is a big athlete who likes to hit and can play both safety positions. He’d make a big impact early with the Chargers on special teams. He made an impressive 14 tackles in punt and kick coverage over the last two seasons. His college coach John Bonamego was a long-time NFL special teams coordinator. Bonamego praised Frazier’s special teams potential.

180. Minnesota from San Francisco – T.J. Green, FS, Clemson, Jr.

181. Jacksonville – DeAndre Washington, RB, Texas Tech, Sr.

182. Baltimore – Brandon Doughty, QB, Western Kentucky, Sr.

183. Tampa Bay – Wendell Smallwood, RB, West Virginia, Jr.

184. N.Y. Giants – Tyrone Holmes, OLB, Montana, Sr.

185. New England from Chicago – Jaydon Mickens, WR, Washington, Sr.

186. Miami – Dominique Robertson, OT, West Georgia, Sr.

187. Washington from New Orleans – D.J. Pettway, DE, Alabama, Sr.

188. Philadelphia – Daryl Worley, CB, West Virginia, Jr.

189. Dallas from Oakland – Jacoby Brissett, QB, North Carolina St., Sr.

190. Los Angeles – Nick Vigil, ILB, Utah St., Jr.

191. Detroit – Darius Jackson, RB, Eastern Michigan, Sr.

192. Buffalo – Anthony Zettel, DE, Penn St., Sr.

193. Tennessee – Tre Madden, RB, USC, Sr.

194. Oakland from Indianapolis – Kevin Peterson, CB, Oklahoma St., Sr.

195. N.Y. Jets – Henry Krieger Coble, TE, Iowa, Sr.

196. New England from Houston – Bronson Kaufusi, DE, BYU, Sr.

197. Tampa Bay from Washington – Nile Lawrence-Stample, DT, Florida St., Sr.

198. San Diego from Minnesota – Kevin Hogan, QB, Stanford, Sr.

Hogan has the size, mobility and quarterback’s demeanor that could interest a team on the third day of the draft. His experience and athletic attributes make him the perfect flyer.

199. Cincinnati – Brandon Allen, QB, Arkansas, Sr.

200. Green Bay – Robby Anderson, WR, Temple, Sr.

201. Jacksonville from Pittsburgh – Stephen Weatherly, DE, Vanderbilt, Jr.

206. Chicago from Carolina – Mike Thomas, WR, Southern Mississippi, Sr.

207. San Francisco from Denver – Rees Odhiambo, OG, Boise St., Sr.

208. New England (compensatory) – Cole Turner, OT, Harvard, Sr.

209. Baltimore (compensatory) – Joe Thuney, OG, North Carolina St., Sr.

210. Detroit (compensatory) – Antwan Woods, DT, USC, Sr.

211. San Francisco (compensatory) – Pearce Slater, OT, San Diego St., Sr.

212. Dallas (compensatory) – Lawrence Thomas, DE, Michigan St., Sr.

213. San Francisco (compensatory) – Aziz sh*ttu, DT, Stanford, Jr.

214. New England (compensatory) – Austin Blythe, C, Iowa, Sr.

219. Denver (compensatory) – Nick Richter, OT, Richmond, Sr.

220. Pittsburgh (compensatory) – LeShaun Sims, CB, Southern Utah, Sr.

221. New England (compensatory) – Juston Burris, CB, North Carolina St., Sr.

SEVENTH ROUND

222. Tennessee – Jayron Kearse, SS, Clemson, Jr.

223. Cleveland – Deon Bush, FS, Miami, Sr.

224. San Diego – Vincent Valentine, DT, Nebraska, Jr.

Valentine is the perfect draft-and-develop prospect. You can’t teach size (he’s 6-foot-4, 329 pounds).

225. Seattle from Dallas – Temarrick Hemingway, TE, South Carolina St., Sr.

226. Jacksonville – Chris Swain, FB, Navy, Sr.

227. Miami from Baltimore – Parker Hinger, OG, Cincinnati, Sr.

228. Denver from San Francisco – Ted Karras, OG, Illinois, Sr.
